During my time as a DPD driver some of my key duties and responsibilities included

• Making sure i practiced excellent time management skills
• Loading my van for the day with packages ready for delivery, ensuring they are loaded in descending numerical order
• Driving responsible and professionally to each delivery at all times
• Greeting each customer with a smile and welcome warm attitude
• Communicating clearly and consistently with the depot for any problems that may occur

During my 6 years at Hoyland Furniture & Carpets some of my key responsibilities included:

• Being on the shop floor greeting customers and providing assistance in any manor I was asked/needed to
• Explaining the benefits of one product compared to another in the same genre helping the customers get the exact product that suited their specific needs
• Accepting furniture deliveries that arrived at the shop and storing them in the most convenient way to benefit customers navigate the shop
• Driving all over the country to deliver the customer their purchased goods at a time most convenient for the customer
• Dispose every item of packaging to soften customers workload
• Planned routes for the delivery days ahead of time
• Driving professionally and safely at all times when delivering
• Helping the customers by not just delivering to the door and leaving it but taking wardrobes/beds etc. up stairs anything I could to soften customers workload
• Assembling furniture with handheld power tools
• Going to different addresses all across the country to measure their floors for carpets/LVT flooring to be fitted
• Taking sample books with me when on measurements as to show the customer different styles/brands/colours etc. for them to take their choosing of what they desired
• Secured furniture and boxes using straps to prevent damage during transit.
