In my role as  Security Manager at an Immigration Removal Centre , I communicate daily with detained individuals, many of whom do not speak English as their first language. I also liaise regularly with colleagues, senior management, and external stakeholders such as Healthcare teams and the Home Office. I also chair monthly security meetings focusing on the Physical, Dynamic and Procedural security settings of the Centre, ensuring compliance, situational awareness, and continuous improvement across all areas.
