My career spans diverse local and international roles, where I have honed my expertise in HSE management and developed deep technical skills in front-end design, operations management, and site supervision. I am looking for opportunities to transfer my skills in oil and gas to the Renewables sector.


I possess significant experience in stakeholder management and influencing across disciplines, leading diverse teams on global projects.   • Leading a project team that is designing and planning the execution of complex workovers and re-completion of 4 wells on a North Sea platform in 2025.
  • Managing a budget of £50mln, across multiple contractors, to allow for successful completion of the work scopes.
  • Serving as Well Operations Team Lead on the UK Wells Duty Team for all Offshore North Sea work scopes.

Senior Wells Engineer - Well Control & Assurance

  • Subject Matter Expert for Well Control. Led a team of in-country focal points to sustain and enhance the assessment of operational well control risks and mitigations.
  • Managed and led assurance activities across the EMEA region, including facilitating well control emergency response exercises, conducting in-person reviews of well control plans, and overseeing management of change and deviations.
  • Directed a regional team to operationalise the Wells technology plan, including planning single trip completions for Nigeria and implementing red zone monitoring systems for offshore UK.

  • Led a team of 3 engineers in designing, planning and ensuring safe and efficient operations of 5-8 well servicing rigs for workovers and initial completions on QGC’s onshore unconventional Coal Seam Gas wells. Managed approximately 350 operations annually, with an average cost of $160k per well.
  • Designed and executed work programs for ad hoc operations, including fishing for stuck rods and tubing, wellhead replacement, casing patches, well abandonment preparations, and side outlet replacements. Managed rigless operations such as wireline logging, hydraulic fracturing, biocide pumping, and cleanout campaigns.
  • Worked with Production Operations and Production Technology teams to determine optimal work scope and scheduling, ensuring high-value wells were prioritized.
  • Successfully onboarded 2 well servicing rigs, ensuring well control equipment safety, conducting 3rd party inspections, reviewing crew certifications, and facilitating pre-mobilization workshops.
  • Developed and implemented standard procedures for fishing operations, leading to a standardized fishing contract with Weatherford and managing a $3 million contract over 3 years.
  • Led a LEAN initiative that improved rig performance, halving the duration of initial completions from 48 hours to 24 hours. This initiative was recognized company-wide and nominated for the BG EDGE award for Innovation.

  • Day Drilling Supervisor on Weatherford Rig 4, drilling onshore unconventional wells in 3-4days and Well Services Supervisor on Easternwell Rig 21 conducting well remediation post-production.
  • Responsible for maintaining personal and process safety throughout operations. This included managing losses with LCM, and DSTs and wireline FRTs in new appraisal areas where there was no offset data.
  • Ensured wells met specifications for Production Operations and managed all logistics of materials and personnel for each operation to avoid Non-Productive Time (NPT).

  • Tunisia – Well Interventions Engineer. Operations on Miskar and Hasdrubal platforms including Hydraulic Workover unit completion change outs and fishing on sour wells, Frac jobs with Schlumberger Big Orange vessel, wireline, slickline, and coil tubing.
  • Australia - Drilling Engineer in the office and at the well site.
  • Successfully completed BG’s Well Engineering Competency Programme with Fearnley and Procter and passed with Merit.
