  • The home had a small team of 7 staff with an area manager in place to support me
  • I had to ensure the house adhered to strict Care Quality Commission guidelines and all aspects of managing people and the smooth running of the home, ensuring budgetary constraints are adhered to; staff were up to date with all essential training; planning and managing the rotas; building effective working relationships with multi-agencies
  • A high level of effective communication and recoding of information was important as I was the first point of contact for all staff members, service users family, regional managers and multi-agency professionals.
