SAP SuccessFactors Solution Analyst responsible for the configuration, analysis and support of the SuccessFactors modules and IT solutions, including the related integrations/user interfaces and Identity Authentication Service to meet the business needs of Babcock cross divisional processes. I work closely with our stakeholders to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SuccessFactors functionality across the HRIS platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in supporting SAP solutions in the area of SuccessFactors.

  • Leads regular reviews with regards to SuccessFactors releases, enhancements, new functionality, end of life plans, updates and application research.
  • Creates and communicates to the SuccessFactors Solutions team and the HR Business Solutions team the details from the releases, enhancements,new functionality and end of life products in a timely manner to ensure plans and delivery can be completed with no impact to the service.
  • Leads and delivers all bi-annual release, ensuring all areas are communicated and tested by both SF team and HR business.
  • Works with the Service Desk, SuccessFactors Administrators, HR and Shared Service Centre technical teams to facilitate incident, problem resolution and SF releases/upgrades.
  • Ensures all Service SLAs are met for the SuccessFactors solution.
  • Leads and manage large bulk data loads or SuccessFactors re-organisations, ensuring processes are followed, testing is successfully completed and approvals are obtained.
  • Key focal point and lead for all RBPs design, configuration, and development in SuccessFactors. Ensure all governance and approvals are followed.
  • Ensure all RBPs are documented and improvements in this area are scoped, designed and delivered.
  • Good understanding of configuration dependencies and integration points between separate functional modules of SuccessFactors and SAP HR.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of integration tools, processes and error handling of SuccessFactors to SAP HR and Payroll applications. (Dell Boomi, HCI/CPI)
  • Work closely with the Solution Leads in gathering user requirements, blueprinting & documentation designs.
  • Ensures all Business Processes, Functional specification, Technical specifications, Test scripts and Training documentation are created and up to date.
  • Ensure the integrity of the SuccessFactors and SAP HR configuration in the SAP systems across multiple landscapes.
  • Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.
  • Assist with responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modeling.

Product Engineer

  • Product Engineer for BAE systems working within the HR Technology team and more specifically the SuccessFactors product team specialising in Compensation, Variable Pay, Employee Central and Integrations.
  • I was fully responsible for managing the end to end Compensation and Variable Pay Service within SuccessFactors. This covered all aspects of design strategy, product maintenance, release management, future proofing and problem solving.
  • This involved working with and advising all the stakeholders from board level down to local admins on how best to design and utilise the system to provide added value and a seamless user experience which helped BAE to successfully deliver the compensation and variable pay cycles each year for thousands of employees.
  • I worked closely with the Reward CoE and Reward Admin teams to deliver any project that utilises the Comp/VarPay modules within SF. This included the Annual Reward Review for Salary and Incentive for circa 20k employees.
  • Due to the nature of BAE and the different businesses contained within this meant a high level of bespoking the product to suit multiple constructs across the Reward space.
  • I worked closely with the other members of the HR Technology team to help deliver functionality that spans modules such as EC, PMGM and Reporting.
  • Experience of configuring EC to build standard and custom functionality that supports both BAU and project requirements.
  • I was also the Integration Lead for the SuccessFactors team. This involved managing a small team of Infosys consultants to deliver HR data out of SuccessFactors to a multitude of downstream systems across the whole of BAE Systems on a daily basis. This data was then processed into all corners of BAE Systems to help ‘business as usual' run as smoothly as possible.
