Some of my jobs can include: Fabrication of access platforms, structural steel, stainless and mild steel pipework and bespoke gates and railings to mechanical maintenance packages for various customers such as:

UPM Shotton Paper Mill - Site shutdown maintenance, on site modifications to suit the customer and various turnkey projects. Pump and motor alignment, belt changes, replace and install rollers with accompanying hydraulic pipework, install new compressed air systems as well as modify existing systems; Whilst adhering at all times to site safety, taking receipt of permits to work, specifications and adhere to procedure and work plans. Working efficiently and effectively to achieve maintenance goal at all times.

BAE Systems – Led a team that installed and commissioned a new build Autoclave/ all services. Swagelok, stainless pipework and systems fabricated on site to suit bespoke specifications.

EMR Recycling – Team Leader of General maintenance contractors brought in as part of a team to assist and undertake various tasks such as; bearing changes, belt and roller changes, on site fabrication. As this is a large scale engineering environment safety is paramount; as part of my supervisor role I will liaise with the site contact and carry out risk assessments, permits to work and ensure the correct isolations are in place. Hold regular tool box talks regarding topics such as usage of correct PPE and address issues and hazards on site.
