Summary

when i started at ignite i was told id be trained thoroughly by the boss who was the companies only gas engineer but shortly after he got very sick and stopped working so i was thrown between jobs doing all sorts before the company went bust.


I am now on a gas course with no gas engineer signing my work off the college have said they don't want to lose me so have given me 8 weeks grace get a new gas employer to finish my course.

in this job we worked long hours doing call out rotas mostly working for estate agents and doing some commercial work alongside it, as for experience we did mostly boiler breakdowns which i believe i am becoming alot better at solving, i did only one lot of gas pipework and i helped the sub contractor on 3 occasions doing boiler installs

i can solder gas pipework and then suitably test for leaks

i can diagnose problems with boilers then replace/fix parts
