Implemented and developed a fundraising strategy to upgrade an already highly successful fundraising function that led to an increase in unrestricted revenue income


Grown Major Gifts income from £8.1m in 2019 to £10.2m in 2023


Led the fundraising team through a restructure that enabled the senior managers to flourish and thrive and showcase leadership skills including increased ability to make the ask and work with senior volunteers


Oversaw a return to post-Covid in-person events with record numbers of attendees and increased the range of events


Managed a volunteer leadership programme for young adults to create a pipeline of future trustees and committee memebers

Developed a clear strategy, utilising major donor prospects list, establised funding relationships with key charitable trusts, organising new fundraising events and increased the number of face-to-face donor meetings leading to income growth of 27% in 2017.


Oversaw a governance review which led to the streamlining of the Board of Trustees and updating of all HR policies


Created a number of fundraising films and major donor funding proposals that became examples of best practise and subsequently used by colleagues in USA, Canada, Switzerland and Holland.

Fundraising events saw the largest attendances ORT UK has seen in many years - and new brand promotion events such as the Professional Women’s Network, and bar/bat mitzvah twinning programmes have brought in new donors to support our work. This was alongside the expansion of the ORT-JUMP 6th form mentoring programme from 7 to 12 schools which also led to an increase in trust fundraising.

  • This included a 25% increase in number of Major Donors (MD) through creation of a MD campaign and stewardship process including bespoke newsletters and events alongside prospect research lists

  • Created a Legacy campaign resulting in 9 confirmed Legacies in first two year's (2013-14)
  • Foundation of MRJ's first lay Fundraising Advisory Board in over a decade to assist in mapping donor connections and creating major donor prospects
  • Lead professional on Reform Judaism Shabbat and Israel education programmes whilst managing part-time education team to deliver teacher training and online content programmes
