I carry my ethics to a high regard which encompass Police Scotland’s values. I am diligent in engaging with all people in my day to day duties, from updating complainers, dealing with suspects, witnesses and members of the public. I recognise the positive impact I make with treating everyone with kindness, fairness and respect. I ensure that everyone feels heard and valued, in every situation. This is something it continually develop to ensure my work is consistent and and outstanding.

I take personal pride in representing police Scotland and the service I provide. I uphold my high standard both on and off duty.

I am a organised and conscientious person, always looking to problem solve to bring incidents of conflict to a safe and calm resolution. This is exemplified by my STO (taser officers training,with use of the national decision model in every decision I make. I am accountable and make decisions promptly and proportionately. I lead by example and take personal responsibility for my workload, as well encouraging and assisting my team. I am a dedicated tutor constable and take responsibility for developing my colleagues to be the best they can be. I am a police custody trained officer which has afforded me valuable insight to other department processes and how every individual plays a vital role in within my organisation as well as being able to provide excellent care when people are at there most vulnerable.
