At the start of my employment with Marks and Spencer, I was initially hired with a temporary Christmas contract. Due to being quick in restocking, having a perfect attendance record, and having great customer service skills, I was offered multiple contract renewals.
During this time, I had become very familiar with the shop layout, and was able to use that knowledge to point people to the right item, thus improving my customer service skills further. I also gained experience on the tills, which included cash handling and debit card transactions.
