• Led the orchestral section within an amateur orchestra as a professional player, providing musical leadership, and guiding less experienced musicians during rehearsals and performances.

• Performed as a deputising alto saxophonist across rehearsals and concerts, stepping in at short notice to maintain ensemble continuity and performance standards. Responsibilities included learning repertoire efficiently, and delivering confident performances in orchestral settings, including participation in the Royal Northern College of Music Saxophone Day.

• Delivered one-to-one and group tuition in saxophone, flute, drums, violin, music theory, ensemble playing, and GCSE Music to a wide range of students, including children, school groups, university students, and adult amateurs. Focused on developing technical ability, musical understanding, and performance confidence, tailoring lessons to individual needs and goals.

• Served as Principal Alto Saxophonist in a wind orchestra, leading the section, performing solo passages, and maintaining high musical standards in rehearsals and concerts, including performances on tour in France.
