- At Educe I stepped into a new field of HR Software. I have successfully managed multiple large scale, multi-national projects from post-sale through to deployment. I challenged myself to upskill on a new software and work within a new field.
- Working within HRIS/LMS platforms expanded knowledge I had gained through working in Healthcare to develop my already strong risk management and problem solving skills, those two elements being key to my day to day work. Aside from that, Educe being a consultancy firm meant we had to be stronger in our negotiation skills in order to secure business that other firms were competing for, building relationships from scratch to secure long lasting contracts was a key part of my work life including attending conventions with our software partners both across Europe and US.
- I’ve prided myself on providing excellent service to our clients during every interaction whether to inform them of positive or negative news, I aim to be tactful to the situation and the audience in every conversation internally and externally and tailor my approach to suit. I am not afraid to share negative news, I was once told to provide solutions not problems so have always and will always strive to present bad news alongside at least one alternate solution.

- Vantage, was a start-up that went through a major period of growth during my tenure and resulted in it’s acquisition by NEC Software Solution in June 2021. We grew and developed an electronic referral management software aimed towards the dental profession, that was implemented and managed by me. I was initially brought on to provide on-site training for dental practice staff for a solitary contract but was offered a full-time position shortly afterwards. As the organisation grew I became a project manager, I undertook a Prince2 certification course to support this transition. In 2020 I took on a more senior project management role internally for a new software suite we began to develop in response to the Covid-19 pandemic that would leverage the base platform but would be re-designed to support General Practice with remote working. This software utilised integration with the practices patient management system, enabling messaging via SMS to the patient whereby they could upload imaging from their own devices onto a digital form, the GP could then review and respond to the patient, or alternatively escalate this as a referral onto any hospital which, using API’s created by our team in conjunction with NHS Digital, would pass the referral directly onto the national NHS eRS referral platform.
- As the project manager I oversaw the inception of the suite through development, I would align our roadmap internally with information provided by NHS Digital, and saw this through to launch across North West London, North East London and Suffolk and North East Essex ICBs.
- We were awarded several awards for ‘Innovation in a Crisis’ and was recognised by the HSJ (Health Services Journal) multiple years in a row as it continued to be developed further.
- Vantage Health was acquired by NEC Software Solution June 2021
