Summary

Passionate about event innovation and excellence, I am a postgraduate student specialising in International Events Management, particularly interested in music events and weddings. I am committed to delivering seamless and memorable events that captivate diverse audiences.

My time at Nando’s has improved my customer service and communication abilities, as well as given me a strong awareness of the value of creating memorable experiences. I excel at thriving in tough circumstances while ensuring that every customer interaction is good and entertaining. In certain circumstances, this came to light, when taking orders that were precisely tailored to the individual, i.e. when the consumer has an allergy or specific criteria. Similarly, in organising and operating events, each event is unique, therefore you must be aware that operating events require various tactics as the target demographic changes.

Furthermore, during my school and my years at university, I was always able to manage numerous duties at once, taking on activities that honed my time management abilities, such as serving as my school’s house captain and directing charity events. Similarly at university, I started and ran my events whilst also pursuing my degree.

Beyond my academic and work commitments, I maintain a disciplined routine by actively engaging in fitness at the gym and expressing my creativity through DJing. These interests have contributed to my personal growth and equipped me with transferable skills, such as discipline, creativity, and adaptability.

Looking forward, I am excited about the prospect of applying my skills and experiences in the dynamic field of international events management. I am particularly passionate about becoming an event manager. In the long-term, I aspire to contribute to creating unforgettable experiences on a global scale.
