After recovering from a broken ankle I found myself at Avalon Plastics, purely to pay the bills. Whilst this position has nothing to do with software development, I have continued writing Maui/Android apps in my free time... which might be finished come Autum.

Full-stack development using C#, MVC, HTML and SQL Server, for new projects and upgrades/updates to existing systems with such technologies as SSIS, SSRS, Web Forms, SharePoint, Ms Access and Active Directory.

Full-stack development using C#, MVC, HTML and SQL Server for telecommunications projects with Three, O2 and Vodafone.

There were also a few C++ console apps that I rewrote in C#, as I was the only developer who knew the language.

SAP redistribution trying to move into web development. I was brought in to finish development of web applications and sites using C#, MVC, HTML, Umbraco and NopCommerce, which had been abandoned. I also had a hand in the development and support of their Sage200 add-ons.

Developing software applications using C# UWP / Xamarin (Maui). Work was full-stack in nature and I was brought in as the first non-owner staff member. My knowledge and experience was shared with the younger members of staff.

Started work at BAM during my degree.
I was offered my first professional job as a junior full-stack software developer and went on the become a full developer analyst in their small development team. My time was spent developing software applications using C#, XML, WPF, HTML and TSQL, but also included Active Directory, API development, InstallShield (and other installers) and Code-First development. As a internal department, our clients were often other departments, so requirements gathering was a casual affair organised quickly and often.
I left shortly after my manager retired.

Designed and developed a prototype rat trap using an Arduino board and parts from Maplins.
