Outside of work, I am a very sporty person. I spend most of my time playing sports such as football and golf. I go to the gym every weekday to maintain mental and physical fitness and I find sports in general a fun thing to do.
I love to help others to achieve their goals. Whether it be helping children learn how to read and write or supporting a friend to work towards their goals in the gym.
I am passionate about my current job, teaching. Having 4 years experience in this area, I have covered every opportunity that has been offered. It has not only taught me how to 'teach', but has developed a whole range of skills. I love the job and experiences I have been granted.
There are many reasons for this...
-Sense of achievement once they reach their desired goal.
-No day is the same.
-Constantly thinking, making on the spot decisions that can be minor or impactful.
-Being influential, motivating others to better themselves.
-The opportunity to be creative, trying out fresh ideas and developing new skills.
-Learning from your own mistakes! You either win or you learn... you only lose if you give up.
-Continuous professional development, learning new and exciting skills every single day.
-COMMUNICATION! Having the ability to work with a group that I take ownership of is so important and something I thrive in.
-LEADERSHIP and ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS. Such a huge part of this role however something that I continue to progress within and enjoy immensely.
I am a motivated and determined person, with a lifestyle I love to live.
Fitness is something I prioritise highly, as it shapes the mind and body. I feel more motivated and have a constant boost of 'can do' attitude throughout my day, every day.
I am an excellent communicator and love to present my thoughts and learning on to other passionate people. Learning is something that I do every day, whether it be learning through more experienced team members or wider reading. I always make time to read, and thoroughly enjoy self-help books that motivate and push me towards other goals.
Goals are healthy and I recognise this, but I also recognise when to feel a sense of achievement once a goal is reached. I always have a number of goals, ranging from small to large- achieving a small goal a day makes the larger ones feel more achievable too.
I educate, drive and refine myself to become a better person every day.
-I am constantly learning because I never settle.
-I focus on making high quality decisions.
-I love to win, but helping a whole team win gives me greater joy.
-I can put people in centre focus of what I am doing.
I enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives.
12 GCSE A*-C
Outside of work I spend my time at the gym, doing DIY, playing football, boxing, and socialising with friends and family. Over the coming months, I plan on returning to golf after a few years away recovering from its frustrations.
