• Mobilization of centre for innovation in mechanical demining. Contract value of $5.5m USD, funded by the Howard G Buffett Foundation.
• Management of budget, donor liaison, mobilisation of facilities, procurement of equipment (cap ex value over $1.9m USD), technical lead.
• Support to GICHD in developing NMAS for mechanical land release in Ukraine.

Working with The HALO Trust, Artios Global Ltd, Chemonics Ltd:

• Co-chair for IMAS technical working group for review of IMAS 09.50 and TNMA 09.50 (mechanical land release).
• Technical advisor for demining operations (incl. Ukraine, Iraq and Somaliland), development of global operational policy.
• Instructor for Humanitarian IED disposal (IMAS 3+, IEDD).
• Technical advisor for EOD.

• Development of HALO global standard operating procedures and machine armouring guidelines.
• Supporting NMAAs in development of NMAS for mechanical operations.
• Comissioning of mechanical assets, including armouring.
• Providing technical advice to HALO programmes incl. Ukraine, Yemen, Libya, Iraq, Somaliland, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan.
• Training and mentoring of national and international staff.

• Mobilization of new operational location in central Iraq. Delivering contract value of $3.6m USD for the United Nations Mine Action Service, with budget uplift to $4.4m USD. Development and management of various departments, including: fleet; finance; HR; admin and logistics.
• Development of mechanical IED clearance capacity, incl. development of Standard operating procedures and commissioning of assets.

• Managing clearance operations, deploying over 700 operational staff (79 teams) on a monthly basis - 13 mechanical teams and 66 manual teams.
• Critically analyzing efficiency, delivering over 30% improvement in operational efficiency, for four concurrent donor contracts.

• Deploying 220 operations staff in eastern Somaliland - 21 manual teams, 3 mechanical teams and 1 survey/EOD team.
