Ada Lana Dervišević

As Head of Public Relations and Social Media manager at Biolab Laboratorij, I am responsible for overseeing the company’s communication strategies, managing its brand image, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. My role includes: At least 10 costumer calls per day, developing and executing comprehensive PR campaigns to enhance Biolab's market presence and reputation, acting as the primary spokesperson for the company and handling all media inquiries, interviews, public appearances and managing its website and social media accounts.

This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to intern at the Sarajevo Film Festival, where I worked on the "Volim Film" project. My role involved curating and promoting film content, engaging with festival attendees, and supporting the Film Society's initiatives to foster a deeper connection between the audience and the world of cinema. Through this experience, I honed my project management, communication, and event coordination skills, while immersing myself in a vibrant festival atmosphere. Collaborating with industry professionals and film enthusiasts alike, I gained invaluable insights into the behind-the-scenes workings of one of the region's most prestigious cultural events.

As part of the dynamic team at Zara, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of fashion retail. My role involved delivering exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and staying on top of the latest fashion trends to assist customers with personalised styling advice. Working at Zara has sharpened my skills in sales, teamwork, and problem-solving, while also providing me with a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour and retail operations. I thrived in this fast-moving environment where adaptability and attention to detail are key to success.
