  • Responsible for managing the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft within strict time constraints, ensuring all ground operations are executed smoothly and to schedule.
  • Over-seeing the offloading and loading of passengers and baggage, ensuring the correct baggage is loaded and any non travelling passengers luggage are removed from the flight.
  • Liaising with third-party services such as fuellers and catering for efficient operations, predicting potential issues which could cause delay.
  • Finalising flight documentation, confirming accuracy of weight and balance prior to departure including HBR documentation as the appointed person.
  • Operating airbridges on and off aircraft with precision and maintaining high level of awareness driving airside.
  • Carry out FOD checks prior to aircraft arrival.


At easyJet my role is multi-skilled therefore I demonstrate exceptional customer service skills while boarding passengers at departure gates, I am able to adapt to different customer needs. I have a wide understanding of the airlines system Eres across all three phases of my job, check-in, boarding and dispatching. I understand the risks that can occur on a turnaround and work with a safety conscious approach by following company SOP's and respecting safety management systems in place.
I have confidence in de-escalating conflicts involving disruptive passengers, working in an ever changing industry we can be faced with issues such as last minute flight cancellations or aircraft downgrades, I am able to support passengers in stressful situations and provide the help they need.

  • Working at Waitrose I gained valuable knowledge working in a store environment. My role involved stock rotation, working on tills, reductions, and managing food waste. I was able to work efficiently with other colleagues to ensure food waste was kept to a minimum by reducing items which were soon going out of date. I was able to represent the company positively by engaging interactions with customers at the check out. I would handle customer queries and ensure they felt satisfied whether it be an issue with a product or the way I assisted them.

Hobbies and Interests

Since age 8 I have been committed to my horses daily. I enjoy riding and attending competitions as well as the general care and love I am able to give them. The horses have taught me great values in terms of responsibility as well as some awareness within myself such as patience and compassion. I manage my own stables and have learn so much about land management and general DIY duties to keep the place running smoothly; I am always learning when outdoors., Throughout the summer I love to go camping in our touring caravan and enjoy holidays within the UK with my dog. From relaxing on the beaches in Cornwall to hiking in the Lake District, I love to explore and create memories with my family.

Accomplishments

  • In 2019 I started building flying hours towards my private pilots license, I was able to achieve my first solo flight at Manchester Barton after just 14 hours of training, this was a very proud moment for me as it is a great milestone during training, testing your ability and composure. I have 36 hours in total and paused my training due to Covid, I hope to continue this one day as I thoroughly enjoyed learning a new skill and pushing myself out my comfort zone. This started my passion for aviation and lead to me working within the industry picking up valuable skills.
  • In 2024 I completed an Equine Sports Massage Therapy course. I felt the desire to help horses when in pain and through massage therapy I am able to treat sore muscles and relive stiffness. I can identify scar tissue, stress points, lameness, and use relevant techniques and light therapy to make an improvement within the muscle. I find this very rewarding to see improvements that I influenced.
