Abigail Ridgard

I am a second year college studying level 3 health and social care at Cheshire college south west. I am a dedicated individual with a drive to be successful with a talent in working as a team and encouraging others. as well as support them. For the last 2 years i have attended a work placement at a local nursery where I gain skills of safeguarding and risk assessments in an environment with young children helping me gain practical skills in relation to my course. And for my future self I see my self at university studying towards a job either as a paramedic or a mental health nurse. I would describe myself as dedicated and dont give up easily through out my life I was a competitive swimmer for over 14 years and not giving up and trying harder to beat my personal time each race. Throughout my time their I learned a lot how to be disciplined and listen to authority and how to take care of vulnerable individuals for example taking care of my younger teammates. But i still have goals set for the next few years like getting a A grade in my over all health and social course. And to pass my GCSE maths.
