• Part of Aon's Cyber Retail team, focusing on large corporate clients with revenues exceeding USD 2 billion, across sectors including manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications.
• Working closely with colleagues across our global network and drawing on the expertise of our cyber consulting team to help clients navigate their cyber risk — from identifying exposures, to recommending the most suitable coverage.
• Placing new and renewal business into the London market, negotiating terms with (re)insurers to achieve tailored programmes for clients, while cultivating lasting market relationships.
• Coordinating market presentations, keeping placement trackers up to date, and managing NDA arrangements with (re)insurers.
• Contributing to pre-renewal strategy meetings and helping to shape renewal approaches for clients.
• Managing network engagement and keeping clients informed on current market conditions, new entrants, and product developments so they can make better decisions.
• Ensuring all post-placement documentation – MRC, endorsements, invoices, and certificate of insurance – are issued accurately and on time.
• Continuously developing cyber and insurance knowledge through industry conferences, training, and networking events.

In this role, I supported brokers across all post-placement activities, ensuring contract certainty was achieved.

• Issuing key market documentation, including quote slips, binding contracts, and endorsements.
• Initiating and monitoring processing activities — raising invoices, handling queries from Xchanging and underwriters, and onboarding new clients into the systems.
• Managing workflow across the placement lifecycle, ensuring all stakeholders meet their responsibilities within agreed timelines.
• Working closely with network colleagues globally, brokers, and the tax and fiduciary teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery for clients.

• Providing quotations to prospective clients, live loading information over the phone, and producing policies, ensuring all necessary new business and renewal documents are issued to clients promptly.
• Following up with prospective clients on outstanding items, confirming satisfaction with premium indications, and managing debt chasing to ensure all MTAs and TMTAs were settled.
