  • Set up, created and managed an in-house Groups and Ticketing Department for all National Theatre shows that transferred to the West End. Starting the department from scratch, using knowledge of the West End to ensure the smooth running of all NT product in a West End Theatre.
  • Identifying sales patterns – working closely with the theatre owner and marketing agency to maximise sales during soft and buoyant periods.
  • Ticket price advice. Working with my NT colleagues and the marketing agency on relevant pricing for all NT productions in the West End.
  • Working closely with the groups teams and box offices where our shows are performing.
  • Coordinating with the education department to ensure a smooth and pleasant booking experience for Schools for both their tailored workshops and tickets.
  • Main point of contact between the NT and West End Box Offices.
  • Proactive allocation management and mark backs between the NT and West End box offices.
  • Maximising sales for NT West End by ensuring the correct pricing, including allocations with NT partners such as American Express.
  • Weekly departmental sales reporting to senior management.
  • Daily and weekly departmental reporting on all NTP productions in the West End and on Tour. Attention to detail is paramount in this area so a good knowledge of Excel and having figures to hand essential.
  • Increase the level of groups and travel trade business and developing new business opportunities by hosting special events at our West End shows.
  • Proof reading all groups marketing materials before going to press and liaising with Group and Travel Trade publications to promote NT productions.

  • To negotiate preferential rates with marketing agencies for use across all Encore Tickets online channels including Theatrepeople.com/ Visitlondon.com and Discounttheatre.com plus Co-ordinating and developing promotions within Encore Tickets.
  • Maximising revenue at soft and peak periods throughout the year with targeted promotions.
  • Set-Up new rates on the Encore Tickets website / ticketing system.
  • Sales reporting to marketing agencies and Producers.
  • Assess market conditions in order to take the business forward.
  • Developing Encore Tickets' relationship with the Telegraph and setting up weekly offers for their Box Office site, which Encore run.
  • Solving technical and rate problems with the ticketing team.
  • Auditing our competitors to make sure Encore is kept abreast of offers in the market and providing a weekly overview of shows opening / closing, news and new rates acquired.
  • House Keeping - making sure all departments is kept up to date with new rates and offers, including the sales and groups teams.
