I run a very small upholstery business. It's a one woman show. I mainly do commissions for people using both modern and traditional techniques. I pride myself on being as eco friendly and sustainable as possible.

I am the mother to 2 amazingly brilliant, confident, kind, well rounded adult children. They are by far my greatest achievement. The best job I've ever had. I couldn't be more proud of them. Duties involved loving, supporting, being available and on call 24/7. Creating a wonderful nurturing home environment. Arranging all educational activities. Ensuring they were fulfilled and stimulated. Providing wholesome nutritious food. Spreading joy etc etc The list goes on but you get the gist. I also took them out of school for a year aged 6 and 7 and went travelling around the world whilst homeschooling them.

Theo was just turning 1 when I started taking care of him. His lovely mum had sadly been recently widowed and was deeply grieving as well as suffering from a debilitating autoimmune disease. My role was on a part-time sole charge basis. My duties included arranging stimulating and educational activities inside and outside the home. Preparing healthy meals and maintaining a tidy and organised environment.

The position came to an end when Heather felt more able to cope on her own and Theo started at nursery.

My position here involved one to one sessions with primary aged children who were struggling with social and emotional development. We would plan and carry out fun educational activities together, building on their confidence and emotional intelligence. I would record their development and lease with the class teacher to establish where the gaps in their learning were and what we should be focusing on.

My duties here included planning, organising and carrying out craft and cooking activities. Forest school, storytime, singing and general play and jolification. I also had to monitor and record children's progress and development to ensure they were meeting the required developmental milestones.

I worked for this lovely family as a full-time live-out nanny. Taking sole charge care of two adorable children who were 2.5 and 6 months when I started with them.

My duties involved all aspects of day to day care for the kids and running the home, including food prep for the whole family. Organising and overseeing creative educational activities inside and outside the home. encouraging imaginative play and social and emotional development. I left this position to have my own baby.

This was a full-time live-out nanny position. The 2 children were 6 years and 3months when I started working for them. I stayed with them for a year and then went travelling. When I returned they had had another baby and offered me my job back. They also made me godmother to little Fred. I stayed with them for over 6 years. Living with them periodically when required. My duties involved all the usual aspects of caring for a young family. I'm still in regular contact with all of them and consider myself part of the family. The oldest son is godfather to my daughter.
