Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new and enhanced EDI solution following SDLC and agile methodologies. The new solution transformed the message exchange process by making it less time consuming and reducing operational cost by ~30%.

Key responsibilities:
• Mobilised local teams in UK and Europe to onboard hundreds of Trading Partners to new business processes and EDI solutions as part of SAP rollout.
• Secured key resources from across the group to join local and central teams.
• Restructured the SAP Delivery Partner team to reduce complexity and cost.
• Early adopter of Jira, Confluence, MS Teams for defect management, documentation, effective team collaboration and increased efficiency, co-authoring of Excel trackers and Planner Boards.

Led the EDI team of 7 people to rollout an SAP Template to multiple geographies, through TCS as a Senior EDI & B2B consultant (using EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, IBM Sterling). In this role, I have managed to deliver:
1) End to end design with a considerable improvement in delivery timelines.
2) Reduced the production defects by ~40% as compared to legacy EDI solution.

Key responsibilities:-
• Requirement gathering from multiple stakeholders.
• Engaged with the wider architecture, business team to propose solutions that respect both the company technological road map and faster project implementation and expedite product to market timelines.
• Lead a team of analysts, developers & testers to build and deliver the EDI solutions within the project timelines and budget.

Worked as an L3 Production Support Engineer (using PL/SQL, Unix) for a leading UK home improvement retailer.

Key responsibilities:-
• Managed a team of 4 people and ensuring the sales/stock dashboard, reports in the BI area is always up and running with accurate business data.
• Investigated incidents/requests/problem records in the production environment and work out short/mid/long term solutions with relevant teams, and review them periodically.
• Worked on ITIL concepts like (Incident management, Change management and Problem management).
• Managed the daily workload based on priorities and maintained SLA's to provide quality services to end users.
• Documented and created new knowledge base to provide the most effective solutions to application issues, solutions which can be new code development, defect fixes etc.

Worked as a Developer and Module Lead on a customized ERP implementation (using VB6, PL/SQL and Crystal Report) for an electricity generating and distributing company of the Government of Punjab state in India.

Key responsibilities:-
• Managed a team of 5 people in this role while working as module lead.
• Performed system study and analysis for 2 major modules i.e. Operations and Maintenance.

• Prepared reports in Crystal Report for EDMS (Energy Data Management System) module.
• Created SRS (System Requirement Specification) and, SDD (System Design Document), User Manuals, Unit Test Cases and help file and getting them approved by the client.
• Worked on module design, integration, development, testing and implementation at client site.
• Gave frequent presentation and imparted training to the client on different modules.
