- Transformed static UI for a mobile app to dynamic and responsive UI using bootstrap and flexbox. This resulted in reducing the effort to create apps for tablets separately.
- Built UI components as part of a style guide to standardize the components used across different teams to built apps within the comp
- Using common components enabled onboarding multiple clients and configure client specific theme such as company specific colour, logo, fonts etc across the app UI with minimal changes to the code.
- Built RESTful web services using Spring Boot to calculate the premium for different life insurance products on the basis the user input such as age, smoker status, coverage amount etc using rate tables for every product configured in the backend and respective formulae.
- Built web crawlers to scrape data from different data sources such as, Australian city crime index, liquor license availability for restaurants, heritage listing of a particular address etc.
- Was promoted to team lead, where I lead a team of an intern and two junior developers. My tasks involved mentoring, maintaining code standards, peer feedback, merging pull requests etc.

Projects
- A Design Thinking approach to blended learning problem: Performed full design thinking methodology which involved conducting interviews, building personas and finding out the exact problems students face in the blended learning approach and worked on prototyping the plausible solutions.
- Project outsourcing using Smart Contracts in Ethereum and Solidity: Built a smart contract between a software developer/company and a client. The specifications and scope of the software were captured as part of the smart contract along with the amount to be paid after successful completion of the project. To ensure the project was completed successfully, we created a set of JUnit test cases that would be used to evaluate the project and is triggered once the git commit is made to the main branch. This integration was done using a CI/CD pipeline in Jenkins. Once the smart contract is built, it is deployed on the Ethereum Virtual Machine(EVM). The smart contract waits for the git commit to happen and initiates the transaction once the test cases pass indicating successful completion of the project.
- Stock price comparison application using Flutter and Yahoo Finance API: This project was part of the Software Architecture and Design module, where our idea was to build a mobile application using a 3 layered architecture. The app showcased graphical comparison of multiple stocks. The data to show the stock price was fetched from the yahoo finance API.
- A domain specific modelling language to generate Integrated Voice Menu(IVR) in Jetbrains MPS: This perhaps the most difficult project out of all the once that I have built and involved building a language which provides relevant concepts for the users of the language to successfully create IVR templates. This language was built using a model driven development approach.
