-An internship at a medical device company helps me (a biomedical engineering student) by providing hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing healthcare technologies as the experiences I had mostly focused on basic engineering principles.
-I also want to improve my 3d design skills (solidworks specifically) if possible.
-I also want to gain insight into strict industry regulations and quality standards (such as ISO standards), which are essential for ensuring patient safety and product approval.
Increased my experience in AutoCAD by doing 2D designs of electrical circuits.
I got to see how devices like MRI machines, ventilators, and monitors are actually used on patients, not just how they work in theory. This helped me understand practical challenges like usability, safety, and maintenance. It also helped me understand clinical needs that can be solved by medical devices.
- I have experience in solidworks and AutoCAD thanks to the courses I took last summer (2025), I enhanced my experience in autocad in my internship
- I have good understanding of basic engineering principles
- I have C1 level proficiency in English based on my IELTS results
