  • Originally bought in as a cover for a period of 2 months but was extended to a year because of the impact of new reporting/dashboards created.
  • Role involved working closely with Commercial and Consumer Sales Operation Managers to build automated forecasting and reporting tools using sophisticated data models which consolidate several data sources (Sales data, Inventory data, forecasting data) saving a great deal of time for the operations managers.
  • Quickly established myself as the go to person for any data requests, usually running analysis such as tracking campaign results, ROI analysis, forecasting based on historical trends etc.

  • Ran a project which investigated potential monetary loss due to low inventory related to Samsung Domestic Appliances in Media Market Retail Stores (Germany) and Uni Euro Retail Stores (Italy).
  • By creating a rule-based model which analyzed sales and stock history, using VBA I was able to automatically iterate through store level data and identify the monetary loss due to low stock and identify particular problem regions.
  • Findings were clearly presented using Microsoft Power BI as a visualization tool.

  • Responsible for building several automated sales dashboards used by senior stakeholders on a weekly basis which tracked consumer device sales and Microsoft field team performance in key retailers.
  • Determined which retail stores Microsoft Field team should be placed in to generate highest ROI, this included a deep analysis of store level sales data.
  • I was also able to streamline my day-to-day data processing duties by building a web scraper using Python which gathered product level information online.

  • Responsible for tracking user behavior and user journey on Samsung Europe websites, using a tool known as Clicktale which provided heatmaps and website analytics, I was able to feedback actionable insights to improve user journey online.
  • I also used Adobe analytics to pull through reports with KPI’s such as click through rate, bounce rate, number of cart adds etc. to help track performance.
