  • As a degree Apprentice graduate, I have been working with the Manchester City Council for 5 years in the IT sector, working on their SAP system which supports the councils HR & Payroll systems
  • My role within the team is to support the SRM environment of the system, this is where I manage and resolve user incidents from the backend system using the SAP portal
  • As well as this I help my colleague in the payroll area and manage the service now application where general incidents will be raised for the team, which I will then assign to the right team or resolve myself, if possible, within the required SLA time
  • Whilst working within the SAP team I have been adhering to the principles of ITIL, whilst currently working towards the official ITIL certificate for myself I quickly adopted and apply these disciplines effectively to my role
  • As well as this within SAP I have been constantly developing, testing and implementing changes into the system to meet business requirements
  • I have my own workload and manage this in accordance of importance and business needs, I liaise with team members and the business to complete the changes to the system
  • As well as taking guidance and direction from my colleagues, I develop my own 'processes and guides documentation' enabling myself and team members to have a reference material to use in future tasks

  • This was a small local takeaway business where I had gained experience in serving customers and I had other roles such as to answer phone calls and take orders as well as processing the orders through to the kitchen staff
  • This has helped my confidence when serving customers and has improved my communication skills within a team
  • It also taught me how to work in high pressure environments efficiently and calmly.
  • This opened up my passion for job satisfaction, for instance i would do my upmost to ensure the customers would be having a great experience and in return my efforts would be noticed within reviews and feedback from customers.

Amazon flex driver

  • Whilst lockdown restrictions were beginning to ease I decided to apply for Amazon flex for extra hours of work, I pick and choose which shift I can carry out via the Amazon Flex Application
  • My role is to deliver the amazon parcels to the customers doors once they have been packed, I ensure I am speedy and efficient with being on time to both the pick up station and customers homes.

Hobbies & Interests

I love to play football with my friends on a weekly basis, and I am trying to stay in shape by attending local kick boxing and boxing sessions. I also like gaming, spending time with family and enjoying trying new foods., I volunteer for a local charity that helps struggling families that are in of need food for themselves and their children, this small organisation which only started off with 5 volunteers has now over 150 volunteers. Teamwork and organisation is essential when helping with this charity due to the large number of people helping.
