  • Supported supervisory reporting by identifying risk concentrations and model weaknesses, contributing to policy discussions and resilience assessments with senior risk analysts.
  • Analysed model performance using statistical techniques to identify systematic over- or underestimation across transaction types, informing improvements to model calibration and scenario design.
  • Investigated the incorporation of risk sensitivity metrics (e.g. option Greeks) to enhance the modelling of CCP exposures and better capture non-linear market behaviours under stress.

Data Analyst Intern (EMIR Commodities )

Bank of England
London
06.2025 - 08.2025
  • Designed a supervisory commodity exposure tool using EMIR big data to help CCP supervisors identify and monitor counterparty exposures across both OTC and ETD markets.
  • Translated large-scale transactional datasets into supervisory insights, supporting the detection of concentration risks and emerging vulnerabilities in cleared commodity positions.
  • Collaborated with senior market researchers and CCP supervisors to gather feedback on use cases, integrating their input to refine the tool's functionality and ensure alignment with supervisory objectives.
