Summary

I currently work as a Locum urology consultant with an interest in upper tract oncological surgery. Since I have become a consultant, I’ve completed a Robotic Urology training program in Renal surgery, went through mentorship and I now operate independently on the Robot. I have also taken a role as the Lead of the Urology Investigations Unit, and I have since been working towards improving patients' care and service provision within the Urology department. Following the successful completion of the FRCS (Urol) examination, I am now applying for GMC specialist registration through the Portfolio Pathway to eventually be able to attain a substantive consultant post.

Discharge Analgesia for Day Case Urology Patients Audit – 2024:

  • To evaluate our compliance with the Association of Anesthetists and the British Association of Day Surgery guidelines in prescribing appropriate pain management regimens and providing accurate advice on analgesia to day case urology patients upon post-operative discharge.


Day Case TURBT Audit – 2024:

  • This was an audit to assess our practice against the GIRFT national day-case TURBT rates and compare our rates with other Trusts within the Urology Area Network.


One Stop Haematuria Clinic Audit – 2022:

  • This was an audit to Review GP FT haematuria referrals and assess it against national guidelines and assess whether urology doctors in our trust are conducting the haematuria one stop clinic up to the national standard.
