This position was the role of serving customers and ensuring they had the most efficient service.

• To do this, completed daily stock checks, ensuring operational efficiency. This helped to learn how to constantly think in the future to make sure the work day can flow as efficiently as possible.
• Loaded materials into vehicles securely, preventing any damage during transit.
• Maintained cleanliness of the yard by sweeping, removing debris and keeping tools organised, to maintain smooth distribution.
• Delivered excellent customer service by promptly responding to queries and requests, from prices to which products are the most popular.
• Holding conversation with customers while filling car with diesel/ taking payment etc. to ensure maximum levels of customer satisfaction, and this helped me to improve my communication skills in general.

In this job, I mainly was taking orders on the till and dealing with payments, as well as using the fryers, doing the dishes, and preparing food, all while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Preparing ingredients for increased speed of cooking process, as well as keeping on top of any dishes, achieving a more efficient work environment.
• Performed daily deep cleaning tasks and ensured proper waste disposal to optimise workspace cleanliness standards.
• Before opening hours, I peeled, chopped and sliced vegetables and meats as required by recipes, accelerating cooking times, alongside making different sauces and dips and restocking fridges too. This improved my organisational skills by making sure I was prepared for the next shift and could run as smoothly as possible.
• Contributed to team communication, resulting in better workflow efficiency and improved my communication skills with customers as well.
• Adhered to health and safety regulations with careful handling of food and equipment.
• After closing, I would deep clean all surfaces, floors, fridges, and ensure that all ingredients were fully stocked and ready for the next day, speeding up next day preparations, and this helped me to practice my organisational skills.
