Summary

I am an experienced Teaching Assistant in Primary School with 9 years of experience working in Year 2 through to Year 6. I quickly build rapport and develop a supporting relationship with students. I adapt to working with various teachers and will always ensure I understand their requirements of myself and their expectations of the children. I am very flexible and adjust to last minute changes and situations without worry. I am calm with the children which in turn ensures they do not get upset or worried if routines change.

I frequently cover the teacher when required, often with little notice.

I am compassionate with extensive expertise in effective classroom and behaviour management. Aid positive learning outcomes through tailored teaching approaches which are inline with the school policy. I enjoy working with students of different learning levels and backgrounds and helping them to achieve their best. I am always ready to step in and positively impact student learning or teacher wellbeing with timely support.

Reliable in maintaining orderly spaces and preparing daily materials ensuring the teacher has everything required to deliver the lessons.

I have taught gymnastics and trampolining working at various sports centres for a number of years and also competed in East Region competitions. I also have a passion for running, having enter numerous races including half and full marathons. I enjoy gym workouts and all types of fitness classes. Whilst working as a Teaching Assistant I also held the role of sports leader which involved providing various sporting activities for the children and preparing them for inter school tournaments and events. I am particularly keen on ensuring everyone is able to take part and show their potential and have fun while exercising whilst also spotting talent and encouraging further progress in this area.

As a result of my Secretarial work and Teaching Assistant role I am very organised, efficient and reliable. I have experience with administrative duties, record keeping, producing letters and entering data.

I am always keen to take on new challenges with a positive attitude. I can work well with others to provide a well organised and high quality service. I am extremely reliable and will always do my best in all tasks required of me and communicate well with the team.

I am resourceful and dedicated to every role I have had and thrive under pressure.
