
I am a motivated and detail focused individual with an A-Level in Engineering and a BTEC in Applied Science, seeking a engineering apprenticeship within a professional and quality driven organisation. I have hands on experience working in practical construction and electrical environments as a construction labourer and assistant electrician, supporting electrical installations, fault preparation and safe working practices.
My education has provided a strong foundation in Engineering principals, Mechanical systems, Electrical theory and problem solving, which I actively apply in real world settings. I am known for my precision, reliability, and a strong work ethic. I am eager to develop my technical skills further with a reputable company further that offers structured training, high standards, and clear long term progression opportunities.
I have a strong personal interest in Engineering outside of work, with a passion for cars, motorbikes and fixing mechanical and electrical systems. I am an active offroad motocross rider, mountain biker and BMX racing competitor, which has further developed my discipline, focus , and commitment to continual personal improvements.
I am currently working on site with a building company as a labourer, where i have gained valuable hands on experience across a range of trades. My role involves plastering, joinery, brick work, basic electrical work, dry lining and flooring. This has helped me to develop strong practical skills, attention to detail, and a understanding of working to high standards. Working in a live construction environment has also taught me the importance of health and safety, team work , working to deadlines and reliability. At 18 years old I am highly motivated, hardworking and passionate about developing my skills and learning from experienced professionals.
During this job role I have assisted a qualified electrician on a housing project, supporting the installation and maintenance of electrical systems. My responsibilities include preparing and routing ring mains, installing electrical sockets for a home office and designing the lighting systems for the upstairs of a home. I work safely and accurately while developing new hands on skills that will forever benefit me in the future.
