  • Accounts, Tax & VAT Returns - Assisted in preparing and submitting Accounts, Tax Returns and quarterly VAT Returns to HMRC. This included inputting sales, purchases, cash and various other transactions with full attention and accuracy. Adhered to monthly deadlines to submit Accounts, Tax Returns and quarterly VAT Returns by managing workload independently and made sure to engage frequently with clients throughout preparation in case of any queries.
  • Bank Reconciliations - Carried out bank reconciliations for various clients and prepared Excel Spreadsheets to track banking transactions, noting any discrepancies.
  • Credit Control - Communicated with various clients by phone and email to facilitate timely payments and reduce outstanding accounts receivable. Also liaised with clients to resolve enquiries and billing questions.
  • Other Admin Duties - Applied for self-assessments, formed companies and filed confirmation statements for clients on a monthly basis.   • Payroll - Managed payroll by tracking employee hours and entitlements, also managed starters and leavers thus issuing P45s to enable accurate taxing. Submitted monthly RTIs and made sure to keep all payroll details up-to-date.
