Summary

I am a highly experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant with over 20 years of experience supporting children across all key stages in primary education. I currently work in a multicultural school and have developed a strong understanding of the different ways in which children learn and develop. I recognise every child as a unique individual and tailor my support accordingly to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. For the past six years, I have worked as a 1:1 Special Needs Teaching Assistant, providing consistent and nurturing support to a child with autism, helping him stay regulated and included in the classroom environment. I have a thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures, I am confident using CPOMS, and have a calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children with a range of needs.
