During my work experience as an optical assistant I handled customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues to their satisfaction. Managed appointments, efficiently scheduling and reminding clients of upcoming visits to optimise clinic flow.

I also accurately processed customer payments and orders, as well as also processing sales transaction, handling cash, and operating card machines, maintaining accurate financial records, whilst also assisting them in selecting glasses and contact lenses, providing expert advice on fit and style.

On top of assisting customers, I implemented hygiene and cleanliness protocols for all optical equipment and display areas and promoted special offers and discounts, effectively increasing sales and customer loyalty.

Throughout my time as an optical assistant, I always made sure to foster a welcoming environment, greeting customers with a friendly smile and making them valued and satisfied with their visits.
