I am an experienced Learning and Development professional with over 25 years of expertise in designing and delivering impactful learning solutions. With a strong blend of interpersonal and technical skills, I create learning experiences that have impact.

I collaborate effectively with stakeholders, project sponsors, and team members across all levels, building strong relationships that ensure successful outcomes. My work spans the full learning lifecycle - carrying out learning needs assessment, creating and consulting on potential learning solutions, delivering programs, and evaluating impact through data .

My background combines extensive experience in face to face learning delivery and remote delivery. I am proficient in a large number of authoring and design tools where I create content ranging from graphics, videos, advanced e-learning solutions and everything inbetween. I have experience of administering learning management systems including Cornerstone, Docebo, and Workday.

I focus on delivering learning at the point of need ensuring content is accessible, efficient, and impactful for the learner and the business.

Having worked across both permanent and contract roles in diverse environments, I adapt quickly to new cultures and processes, always ensuring alignment with organisational goals. My experience as a manager and an individual contributor gives me a clear vision of the challenges that the business and individuals face and how to address these issues.

  • Company Overview: Global law firm with 21 offices across the world. Specialist in aerospace, commodities, construction, energy, insurance and shipping.
  • Facilitate the move from an end-of-life HR system to a new global HR solution (SAP SuccessFactors). Starting from initial scoping of work, agreeing milestones to TNA, Design and delivery of learning and adoption interventions. The assignment involved working with many stakeholders within the firm plus suppliers, external agencies and technical staff. The final solution placed learning at the point of need back in the hands of the users with each task broken into short (5 min max) learning activities which enable the user to move on quickly and revisit again if required.

  • Initial project - Modernise approaches to digital adoption. Developing processes for assessing learning needs and designing solutions that engage and encourage users to make full use of the technologies within the firm. Working with existing team and technology stakeholders within the firm.
  • Contract extended. Reviewed approach to deployment of iManage. Refined approach to learning solution. Creation of micro learning assets (videos, animated gifs, simulation exercises, animation (using Vyond). Created bite sized learning for the point of need. Reviewed training provision provided by external vendors.
  • Contract extended. Designed, developed and deployed the training solution for a global telephony deployment. I worked with our documentation team to create virtual interactive guides, one page quick guides and short “how do I?” explainer videos for each task.
