Work History

Flight Control Engineer

  • Designed and tuned complex control loops for a unique eVTOL in the SkyFly AXE
  • Programmed the AXE's flight computer to perform sensor fusion, stabilised flight, trims, and al onboard functions needed for an eVTOL
  • Utilized MATLAB's system identification and control system optimization to optimize the AXE's control system
  • Wired and helped setup the electronics bay of the AXE
  • Setup the CANbus for the AXE communication between the motors and the flight computer
  • Performed post flight analysis on the aircraft on motor variables and aircraft performance using MATLAB
  • Designed and customized the HMI for the AXE screen
  • Assisted in the development of the UK's first ever HIL 2-D VR motion platform
  • Was part of the MOSAIC's CBCS (computer based control systems) committee and provided input on the certification process for the F37 (26-05) indirect flight control
