• This role involves monitoring infection rates, developing protocols, educating staff, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care and achieve patients safety.
• We are the advisory team in FPH, WPH and other community facilities under our trusts. We monitor and analyze infection data, including rates of hospital-acquired infections, conduct regular audits and assessments of infection control practices throughout the facility
• We also provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection prevention practices, including hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe handling of materials and conduct orientation sessions for new staff on infection control protocols
• We work closely with the medical team, nursing staff, and administration to address infection control issues, serve as a liaison between the hospital and public health authorities for reporting and managing outbreaks, investigate and manage infection outbreaks, implementing control measures and conducting root cause analyses, participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection control and patient safety and review and assess current practices to identify areas for improvement.
• We play a key role in the delivery of the trust Infection Prevention & Control Annual Plan, assisting in the identification, prevention, surveillance, and management of infection in the trust, as well as participation in clinical audit and education.

• Elderly care ward where short term patients treated of their current issues, cognitive problem and other underlying issues and once they are medically fit for discharge, Back to their baseline, we will designate them to different home or residence assigned/suitable for their improvement. Complex discharge are being dealt with too. We nurse patient with Dementia, LD, Alzheimer's disease and even with mental health issues.
