Summary

A highly skilled and versatile Registered Nurse with extensive experience across diverse clinical specialties, including Cardiology, Frailty and Geriatric Care, and Infection Prevention and Control. With over 12 years of nursing experience, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that allows me to provide exceptional, patient-centered care in both acute and chronic settings.

My career began in **cardiology**, where I honed my expertise in managing patients with heart disease, performing detailed cardiovascular assessments, and supporting complex interventions, such as post-operative care following heart surgeries and managing patients with heart failure. I became adept in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and critical care monitoring, ensuring patients received timely interventions and quality care.

As my career progressed, I expanded my practice to include **frailty and dementia care**, specializing in the unique needs of elderly patients with cognitive impairments and frailty. I am well-versed in performing comprehensive geriatric assessments, managing co-morbidities, and coordinating care for frail and dementia patients. My ability to educate and support families, improve patients' quality of life, and provide compassionate end-of-life care has been central to my approach in geriatric nursing.

In my most recent role as an **Infection Prevention and Control Nurse**, I have taken on a leadership role in preventing healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs), conducting surveillance, managing outbreaks, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols. I am skilled in educating staff on infection control best practices, analyzing infection trends, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to reduce the spread of infections in healthcare settings. My commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and antimicrobial stewardship has made me a trusted resource within multidisciplinary teams.

With a passion for continuous professional development, I remain dedicated to providing the highest standards of care while adapting to the evolving healthcare environment. I am committed to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, leadership, and collaboration, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care for all patients under my care.
