  • I was in charge of processing Vauxhall's receivable entries from bank statements which averaged around 130+ entries daily. This was done in a timely and accurate manner showing great time efficiency skills as well as attention to details.
  • I also had to utilise nominals for any entries that could not be allocated correctly in time for month-end processes. Furthermore, I was responsible of making sure that everything that was sat in a nominal was accounted for and chase remittances so in the end all entries were posted correctly to avoid aged credit.
  • I have efficiently addressed and resolved enquires from both internal and external stakeholders. This had to be done maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and in a timely efficient manner. This enhanced my written communication as well as my verbal communication.
  • I was also in charge of performing bank reconciliations for monitoring and controlling the cashflow of multiple franchises, some of which had over 150+ receivables and payables entries. Great accuracy and attention to details were vital to successfully balance a bank reconciliation.
  • The role involved a lot of working with Microsoft Excel for the day-to-day tasks. Working with Excel required the use of a number of formulas being used to simplify duties.
  • To efficiently process daily entries I was using Blackline as the cash management software which made it simpler. Also, pinewood was the accounting software I utilized to proficiently carry out the above mentioned responsibilities.
